David Keelaghan

Currently the editor of Wealth Professional and Life and Health Professional magazines, David joined the KMI Media team in March 2016.
 
Having studied International Journalism at John Moores University in Liverpool and completed an MA in Journalism at the University of Ulster in Northern Ireland, David began his career with his local newspaper in Ireland, The Northern Standard. Starting out as a sports reporter, David later moved into covering local politics and business for the Standard.

He arrived in Canada in 2010 and had spells as an editor with the Marketwired news service and Desjardins Capital Markets’ research team. After that he lived in Seoul, South Korea for two years where he worked as a teacher and later as a copy editor for the Korea Times. David also wrote a regular column on major international issues for the title. Upon returning to Canada he worked for Postmedia as a copy editor before being named editor of Wealth Professional and Life-Health Professional.
