Industry veteran Jon Kilfoyle will spearhead growth in firm’s platforms in Canada and the US
Wellington-Altus has added strength to its leadership team with the hire of an investment industry veteran.
Jon Kilfoyle, most recently senior vice-president of investments at IG Wealth, joins the Winnipeg-headquartered asset manager as executive vice-president of products and platforms.
He will leverage his 20+ years of expertise to focus on elevating the Wellington-Altus suite of products and oversee its Canadian and US platforms as president of Wellington-Altus Asset Management Inc. and Wellington-Altus USA Inc.

High-net-worth clients
At IG Wealth, Kilfoyle led the development of exclusive investment solutions for high-net-worth clients.
Previously, he held various senior leadership positions within the wealth management industry at Wellington West Capital Inc., National Bank Financial, and RBC Dominion Securities.
Wellington-Altus was founded in 2017 and has since grown to a $20 billion AUM business with entrepreneurial advisors, portfolio managers, and high-net-worth clients.
Kilfoyle says he was attracted to the firm’s collaborative culture.
