Richardson Wealth has added strength to its leadership team with the appointment of industry veteran Kevin Shubley as VP of business strategy and analysis.

Shubley joins the Toronto headquartered firm with 30 years of industry experience which includes his most recent role as VP and head of strategic initiatives at Gluskin Sheff + Associates. He previously held several senior roles at TD Bank including overseeing a $37 billion AUM business unit focused on institutions and high-net-worth clients.

"I was attracted to Richardson Wealth's advisor centric, entrepreneurial, and high-touch boutique culture that clearly sets them apart,” said Shubley. “I'm eager to hit the pavement running and help Richardson Wealth become the brand of choice for Canada's top advisors and their clients."

His new role at Richardson will include ensuring that the firm’s advisors have critical business intelligence, leveraging his core strengths in people leadership, strategic thinking, and advisor/employee engagement and development.

"Kevin is an excellent addition to our leadership team," said Richardson Wealth's newly appointed COO, Dave Kelly. "Having worked together at Gluskin Sheff and then at TD for many years, I have seen first-hand what he can achieve. His track-record of driving bottom line results is inspiring, and I am confident he will help us advance our agenda to achieve our ambitious goals."

Kelly was also previously at Gluskin Sheff having been brought in by Onex in 2022. He left the firm when most of Gluskin Sheff’s wealth management advisor teams were transferred to RBC Wealth Management Canada in 2023.

Richardson Wealth was a Wealth Professional 2023 5-Star Brokerage in 2023.
