Family office service provider seeks to better protect ultra-high net worth clientele through cyber security partnership

Grayhawk takes aim at growing cyber threats

Grayhawk Wealth, a company that provides family office services to Canadian ultra-high net worth households, is looking to protect clients from the spectre of cybercrime through a new collaboration.

Consisting of two divisions – the Chief Investment Office (CIO) and the Family Office Services (FOS) division – Grayhawk aims to simplify the complexities faced by those who possess multi-generational wealth. The FOS arm creates custom offerings to families by bringing together the best delivery advisors and solutions to meet their needs and requirements.

Grayhawk has collaborated with Field Effect Software, a Canadian cybersecurity company, to increase the depth of cyber protection for their clients by safeguarding their data and operations from cyber threats.

“We recognize the trust our families have in Grayhawk, and we are committed to ensuring their assets are protected by implementing Field Effect's comprehensive cyber security platform,” said Grayhawk co-CEO Peter Mann.

The platform, called Covalence, is billed as a holistic, end-to-end managed detection and response (MDR) service. Using human-backed threat intelligence, machine learning, and analytics, Covalence provides protection across an organization’s entire IT infrastructure, including networks, devices, and cloud-based applications.

“When we recognized an emerging theme within our families in a shared goal of protecting their businesses and family offices from cyber threats, we approached Field Effect to see how we could collaborate on filling this need for our families,” said Allison Comeau, director, Family Advisory Services at Grayhawk Wealth.

As part of its offering for Grayhawk’s families, Field Effect is providing a cost-effective integrated cyber-security platform focused on small and medium-sized businesses, including a dedicated account executive to collaborate with the FOS team.

“We're thrilled to be working alongside a fellow Canadian-based company that is so invested in the cyber security needs of their clients,” said Field Effect CEO and Chief Technology Officer Matt Holland. “We look forward to working together to serve their community, and to ensuring their clients' businesses and investments are in good hands, both now and in the future.”
