Another two of Canada’s Big Six banks announced their quarterly financial results and once again they are in the money. CIBC’s third quarter profits were up 6 per cent from the same period last year to reach $978 million with adjusted earnings per share of $2.45. Meanwhile TD Bank announced a 7.5 per cent rise in profits to $2.3 billion with earnings of $1.20 per share.
