The success of the wealth management divisions of the big Canadian banks continue to be part of the good news story in the banking sector. Scotia Bank just posted quarterly results. Profits are up 14%, partly as a result of good business in the wealth management division. Royal Bank of Canada and Toronto-Dominion Bank kicked off earnings season on Thursday, reported similar results.
