Investing heavyweights Pimco, Goldman Sachs and Blackrock are in a debate about coming interest rate rises in America. Pimco recently released a report outlining an investment outlook Pimco calls the “new neutral” that suggests, going forward, rates will average about 2%, much lower than the 4% suggested by the Fed. The outlook has Pimco buying intermediate-dated bonds that Goldman Sachs and Black Rock have shunned. Goldman and Black Rock are trash-talking Pimco as a result.
