Advisors can sync meeting notes into Equisoft, Maximizer, and Cloven without manual entry
Canadian financial advisors who spend up to 30 minutes after every client meeting copying notes into their CRM may soon hand that task to software.
Focal AI said its newly expanded integrations let advisors reclaim as much as 50 hours a month by syncing meeting records automatically.
The company, an AI assistant built for Canadian advisors, has connected its tool to Equisoft/connect, Maximizer and Cloven, with Laylah coming soon.
Those links extend to Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Zoho, Wealthbox, Redtail and other platforms.
The pitch targets a familiar drain on advisor time.
Many advisors still re-enter client information by hand after each meeting, Focal AI said, and those minutes compound across a week, cutting into client work, business development and planning.
The company said advisors can lift client capacity by as much as 30 percent without adding administrative staff.
Focal AI captures meeting details, generates summaries and action items, and syncs them into participating CRM platforms.
Data also flows back the other way, letting advisors draw on stored client records for meeting prep, reviews and search.
An “Ask Anything” feature fields natural-language questions such as, “What did we discuss about their retirement plan last quarter?” and surfaces answers from meeting history and CRM records.
Firms can set how information moves between the systems through field mapping, the company added.
Focal AI’s chief executive officer, John Connell, framed the move around existing tools.
Amin Rajan, CEO of CREATE-Research and the report's lead author, said innovation has been "a key instrument" for asset managers of every size.
It helps them stay relevant in a market where competition has turned "from benign to malign," he said.
The CRM providers reported similar reasoning.
Djaffer Maloufi, product manager at Equisoft, said the integration cuts the post-meeting workflow to a single click.
Gabe Karkanis, senior director at Maximizer, said the link pairs client relationship management with real-time meeting intelligence, while Cloven president Massimo Ianniruberto said advisors want tools that free up time for client relationships.
Focal AI said it built the integrations with Canadian CRM providers serving thousands of advisors, and pointed to a wider industry shift from meeting transcription toward software that automates full workflows as AI adoption grows.
