New hire set to elevate service offering with over 10 years' experience across independent and bank-owned dealers

Raymond James names head of Investment Strategy

Raymond James Ltd. has announced Nadeem Kassam as its new head of Investment Strategy, Private Client Group.

A seasoned capital markets professional, Kassam has extensive experience conducting fundamental equity, macro, fixed income, and preferred share analysis, as well as skills in financial modelling and forecasting. In his new role in Raymond James, he will be focused on delivering value-added market insights to assist the firm’s clients and advisors with their portfolio solutions.

“Nadeem has a wealth of experience supporting the advisory channel and is a significant addition to our group,” said Christopher Cafley, senior vice president, Investment Strategy, Products and Trading. “With his extensive experience, Nadeem will be charged with elevating the current service offering we provide to our clients."

With over 10 years of industry experience, Kassam has held progressively more senior roles at both independent firms and bank-owned dealers. He earned his MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
