LNG could see the next global glut

With fears of oversupply in oil rising again there is now another focus for the energy industry; new supplies of liquefied natural gas.

With fears of oversupply in oil rising again there is now another focus for the energy industry; new supplies of liquefied natural gas. A number of projects in Australia which have been in development for many years are finally about to begin producing LNG and that could mean in the short term that there is a supply glut. However the gas is increasingly popular for its lower carbon emissions and experts predict that there will be a longer term demand possibly leading to a shortage.
