The earthquake which has rocked Chile and forced the evacuation of up to a million people from their homes has prompted a rise in copper prices

The earthquake which has rocked Chile and forced the evacuation of up to a million people from their homes has prompted a rise in copper prices. Markets are concerned that Chile, the world’s largest producer of copper, will suffer supply issues. Prices hit their highest in almost 2 months on the London exchange early Thursday.
