Bell, Rogers are top of the league…for complaints

The Commissioner for Complaints for Telecommunications Services received fewer complaints about telecom companies in the six months to the end of January; down 8.5 per cent to 5,468.

The Commissioner for Complaints for Telecommunications Services received fewer complaints about telecom companies in the six months to the end of January; down 8.5 per cent to 5,468. Bell sparked 1,989 complaints with Rogers the subject of 1,240. The two companies far exceeded others with 361 about Wind and Primus just 69. Of course any complaint is one too many but what are the areas that concern people most? Incorrect charges, misleading contracts, tough cancellation penalties and data charges were among the most complained about.
