iA Financial Group cements top position with new segregated funds

iA Financial Group has bolstered its status as the leader in net sales of segregated funds in Canada since 2016 with the addition of five new offerings.

By providing high-potential investment solutions that profit from current market conditions, sustainable decarbonization trends, and investors' desire to increase their savings, the company is securing its place as the industry leader.

Among the firm’s new offerings are four ESG funds, which it claimed were among the best seg-fund offerings for that type of investment.

"Prioritizing ESG factors is not a fad, it's an essential condition of success for companies in the twenty-first century,” said Renée Laflamme, executive vice-president, Individual Insurance, Savings and Retirement. “The addition of four ESG segregated funds is a good illustration of our commitment to sustainable development and is one more element among our many concrete actions in this direction."

The Sustainable Canadian Equity (iAIM), a revolutionary approach by iA Investment Management, invests in top companies in Canada by fusing themed ESG solutions with best practices in sustainable investment.

The Sustainable Balanced Portfolio (iAIM) is a comprehensive balanced solution that combines the knowledge of the top sustainable investing firms in the industry, offering access to a variety of sustainable strategies such as green bonds, climate risk, carbon reduction, among others.

The Fidelity Climate Leadership Balanced investment strategy is established to lower risk and take advantage of opportunities brought about by the movement toward global decarbonization. It combines equity and fixed income securities from issuers from all over the world.

Finally, the Climate Strategy (Wellington), first made available in Canada by iA Financial Group concentrates on five key areas: low-carbon electricity, energy efficiency, water and resource management, climate-resilient infrastructure, and low-carbon transportation.
