The Fiduciary Trust Company of Canada announced Tuesday that Diane Tom has joined the firm as vice president of Personal Trust Services. Based in Toronto, Tom will provide trust and estate planning to high net worth investors across the country utilizing the worldwide expertise of its parent company.

Reporting to Tom Junkin, Fiduciary Trust’s senior vice president of Personal Trust Services, Tom brings to the table a unique skill set that includes a law degree from Queen’s University. Prior to joining Fiduciary Trust Tom worked as a senior consultant in the Professional Practice Group of a major Canadian trust and estate company.

Junkin said of Tom’s hiring: “With more than a decade of industry experience, Diane is a highly-regarded and respected trust and estate professional. Her knowledge of estate, tax and investment strategies and services for high net worth individuals and their families will contribute greatly to the strong momentum we have seen for our capabilities in Canada.”

Fiduciary Trust and its predecessor companies have been providing wealth management solutions for high net worth clients since 1982.
