A portfolio manager shares his top two ETF picks

Portfolio Manager: These are my top fund selections

Portfolio Manager with Industrial Alliance Securities Inc., John De Goey, gives WP his latest ETF picks.

Vanguard FTSE Emerging Markets All Cap Index ETF (VEE) “[This] is the industry leader for emerging market equities,” says De Goey. “The asset class is relatively cheap and the product is extremely cheap.  For people who invest with a time horizon measured in generations, I continue to believe that this is an excellent product to use.

iShares Core MSCI All Country World ex Canada ETF (XAW) “[This] is one of two or three excellent products that provide global exposure to broadly-diversified blue chip stocks from first world economies. Combining this with VEE is a great way to get long-term equity exposure outside of Canada.”
