BMO Asset Management (BMO AM) has revealed plans to list three ETFs on NEO, the latest in a series of announced new listings on the alternative exchange this year.
Pending final approval by the NEO Exchange, three new ETFs – the BMO Long-Term US Treasury Bond Index ETF (ZTL), BMO Mid-Term US Treasury Bond Index ETF (ZTM), and BMO Short-Term US Treasury Bond Index ETF (ZTS) – are to be listed in mid-February. Each fund also has a USD series, distinguished from the normal CAD series by the addition of “.U” to the ticker symbol.
The new ETFs, which are BMO AM’s first listings on the NEO Exchange, will let the public access a wide swath of the US Treasury bond market, separated by term.
“We are excited to offer our US Treasury ETFs on the NEO Exchange, providing clients with access to asset classes that are currently underserviced in the Canadian marketplace,” said BMO Global Asset Management
Canada Head Kevin Gopaul.
“We are thrilled BMO Asset Management Inc. has decided to list their US Treasury ETFs with us,” said NEO Exchange President and CEO Jos Schmitt. “BMO is a true leader when it comes to embracing innovation and we are happy to welcome them as a listing partner on the NEO Exchange.”
