Starlight Investments Ltd. appoints new member of senior management

The Toronto-based real estate investment and asset management firm has just announced a new addition to its executive team

Starlight Investments Ltd. ("Starlight") has announced the appointment of Raj Mehta as Global Head of Private Capital & Partnerships.

Holding an International Master of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business at York University, Mehta has been part of Goldman Sachs International in London, England for the past 12 years. His most recent role was to lead the firm's investment banking work with sovereign wealth and pension fund clients; prior to that, he co-led the private equity group within the company’s European Capital Markets platform. Before joining Goldman Sachs, he held senior leadership positions at 724 Solutions Inc. and Deloitte Consulting.

Mehta has earned recognition as a leader in capital markets, mergers & acquisitions, and private equity transactions involving global institutional investors. His background and experience is expected to help grow assets under management and expand Starlight's asset management platform, helping the company grow across North America in the multi-family and commercial real estate sectors.
