Q Wealth Partners has announced the appointment of four industry leaders to its line-up, including one of Canada’s foremost financial industry executives.

Sara Hilliard is the firm’s new COO, while filling out the senior management team are: Matt Petras, Director of Platform Development, Brian Sharp, Head of Finance and Controller, and Dan Skolnick, Director of Portfolio Strategy & Trading. 

Jared Rabinowitz, Founder and Executive Partner of Q Wealth Partners, said: “As we’ve attracted significant growth with our partner program, and accordingly scaled up our support staff, we’ve reached a point of critical mass where it made sense to add a full-time COO. This will enable us to focus executive time on forward leaning, strategic initiatives.

Hilliard comes to Q Wealth after serving in a similar capacity with Pascal Wealth Tech.  She has a long-established reputation as an experienced operator throughout her 25-year career in financial services, wealth management, and investment funds.

She held progressively senior roles focusing on strategy, product management, technology, operations & communications. She contributed to market-leading positions for IFDS and State Street Bank Luxembourg, as well as overseeing the doubling of assets for iA Wealth with the HollisWealth acquisition.

Over the past several years, Hilliard led the Public Affairs Committee for IFIC, was a member of Fundserv’s Fund Company Advisory Council and the Federation of Mutual Fund Dealers, and delivered the Disrupter in Action Winning Pitch at the 2020 CAASA Family Office Conference. She  holds an MBA from Rockhurst University and a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Mathematics with honours from Missouri State University.
