AGF investments expands ETF options across three funds

AGF Investments Inc. (AGF Investments) has expanded its offerings by introducing ETF series options for three of its established funds, marking a significant enhancement to its investment portfolio.  

This expansion, announced on GlobeNewswire, includes the AGF Global Real Assets Fund, AGF Total Return Bond Fund, and AGF U.S. Small-Mid Cap Fund.

The newly introduced ETF series for these funds are listed on Cboe Canada Inc. with the following tickers and risk ratings:   

  • AGF Global Real Assets Fund (Ticker: AGLR) has a medium risk rating. This fund is designed to deliver long-term capital growth by investing in global securities in sectors such as energy, materials, infrastructure, and precious metals. It employs a strategy that combines bottom-up fundamental security selection with tactical asset class weightings and the utilization of derivatives for risk management and income enhancement. 

  • AGF Total Return Bond Fund (Ticker: ATRB) carries a low-risk rating. The fund offers potential for higher yields than traditional bonds, investing in a variety of fixed income securities including high yield bonds, convertible bonds, and emerging market bonds. The investment strategy incorporates a top-down fundamental approach for category allocation and a bottom-up approach for corporate bond selection, supported by corporate credit research. 

  • AGF U.S. Small-Mid Cap Fund (Ticker: ASMD) is rated medium to high risk. It targets U.S. small and mid-cap equities, focusing on market leaders and innovators.
