AGF Investments evolves lineup with new ETFs and portfolio funds

AGF Investments has expanded its lineup with the launch of new ETFs and portfolio funds offering access to leading investment strategies.

The AGF Global Sustainable Growth Equity ETF is based on AGF’s Global Sustainable Growth Equity strategy, which has one of the longest established track records in sustainable investing. Trading on the NEO Exchange under the ticker AGSG, it invests in global equity securities with a primary focus on providing long-term capital appreciation through investments in four key impact themes.

The other new ETF, the AGF Global Opportunities Bond ETF, is a new active global fixed-income strategy. Listed on the NEO Exchange as AGLB, it seeks to provide both capital appreciation and interest income through investments in fixed-income securities of governments and corporations around the world.

AGSG and AGLB come with medium and low risk ratings, respectively, and both have a management fee of 0.65%.

AGF has also unveiled two new portfolio mutual funds that are substantially similar in strategy to AGFiQ Global Balanced ETF Portfolio and AGFiQ Global Income ETF Portfolio.

The AGFiQ Global Balanced ETF Portfolio Fund, targets long-term capital appreciation with reduced volatility, while the AGFIQ Global Income ETF portfolio seeks to generate capital growth and regular income. Both funds achieve their respective objectives through direct or indirect investments in global equity and fixed-income securities, including securities related to non-traditional asset classes.

Using a rigorous factor-based approach to see risk from multiple angles, the funds include a range of third-party and in-house ETFs that are diversified across different regions, sectors, and asset classes while potentially offering better risk-adjusted returns.

The portfolio funds come in MF and F fund series, with management fees of 1.55% and 0.55%, respectively.

“As we evolve our product line-up, we will continue to provide our clients with choice in the way they access our strategies to best suit their respective business models and investors’ portfolios,” said Karrie Van Belle, Chief Marketing & Innovation Officer at AGFI
