Bernd Silbermann is the District Vice President for Manulife Investment Management  in Kitchener & Waterloo Ontario.  He has a passion to deliver relevant insights on investing and financial planning, backed up with a proven track record of help his financial advisor clients. Bernd believes that one of the most important aspects of his role is building a long-term valued business relationship - one advisor at a time, the same way top advisors do so with their clients.

For this, Bernd relies upon 37 years of experience in the financial services industry, most of which have been proudly with Manulife Financial. Prior to financial wholesaling for 21 years, Bernd gained a well rounded business experience in increasingly senior management roles in areas which include: information technology, CX/administration and segregated fund/banking/pension product development.

Bernd is a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University where he earned an honours bachelors degree in Business Administration with High Distinction. He became a Charter Member of the Canadian Initiative for Elder Planning Studies after earning an Elder Planning Counselor designation (EPC) and became a member of the Canadian Institute of Financial Planners after he earned a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.

On a personal note, one of my proudest achievements is to have raised significant funds for local charities over the course of my career.
