The National Bank of Canada and Tennis Canada have announced the renewal of their partnership, extending it for a six-year term.
National Bank, being the only Canadian financial institution with a commitment to the sport of tennis, is pledging continued support until 2022. This support includes initiatives to foster the development of the next generation of amateur and professional players and continued efforts to help bring top international tennis stars to tournaments in Canada.

Tennis Canada’s vice president, Eugène Lapierre, agrees. "Our two organizations have a unique relationship, and many tennis fans will tell you that the National Bank's initiatives have made a huge contribution to developing their passion for this sport," he says.
The partnership between the two organizations brings a wealth of benefits for Canadian tennis athletes and aficionados alike. These include the nationwide National Bank Little Aces talent-recruitment program, aimed at children ages six to eight; “On the Ball”, a program wherein thousands of used tennis balls are placed on the bottoms of classroom chair legs to reduce distracting noise; development tournaments like the Challenger Tour, which let young Canadian players experience international competition and earn points towards their world ranking; and the world-famous Rogers cup, where tennis fans can watch the world’s greatest tennis players in action.
In celebration of the renewed partnership, National Bank will be distributing 1,000 free tickets to Rogers Cup matches—500 in Montreal and 500 in Toronto. The tickets are to be given out at the Rogers Cup launch events on July 20 and 21, happening on McGill College Avenue in Montreal and at Nathan Phillips Square in Toronto. Tickets will also be available at National Bank kiosks during the free Family Weekend events on July 23 and 24 in both Montreal and Toronto. Distribution times will be announced on National Bank’s Facebook and Twitter accounts.
