The biggest night of the year for financial advisors in Canada? We certainly like to think so! And now, the Wealth Professional
Awards is just one week away.
The glamorous showcase event takes place at the Liberty Grand in Toronto on June 02 with a huge celebration of the gold standard of the industry. More than 400 wealth professionals will attend the black tie gala that has been described as the “Oscars” of the wealth industry – and tongues are wagging about who will walk away with this year’s awards as finalists celebrate their nominations.
“It is a tremendous honour to be recognized as a finalist in three categories in an industry that is dominated by the big banks, their brokerages and investment counsel,” commented Arthur Salzer, chief executive officer of Northland Wealth Management.
“Last year’s inaugural event was ‘over the top’. The great venue combined with a night of celebration and recognition of industry professionals was a success! Everyone is looking forward to this year’s amazing event.”
“Nest Wealth is honoured to be nominated as the best digital innovator and marketer of 2016 and excited to be part of the awards night,” commented Randy Cass, founder and CEO of Nest Wealth. “We are constantly amazed at the continuous and warm reception of the industry to the efforts we put into education and empowerment of the Canadian investor.”
The judging panel is made up of highly respected industry names such as Greg Pollock, president and CEO of Advocis; Deb Abbey, chief executive officer of the Responsible Investment Association; Robbie Wildman, past president of Advocis; Sue Lemon, chief executive officer of CFA Society Toronto; and Nancy Allan, executive director of the Independent Financial Brokers of Canada. They are in the process of finalizing their decisions about award winners now.
So who will walk away with the awards? There is only one way to find out – and that’s to be part of the night’s incredible proceedings that will be hosted by award winning comedian Alastair Forbes and will include entertainment from seven-piece band, St. Royal. There are just a handful of seats remaining – so if you wish to be part of this spectacular evening, head on over to wpawards.ca
