Supreme Court ruling should lead to more honesty in business A unanimous ruling in the Supreme Court will require Canadian businesses to act with a new sense of honesty. The landmark case will make it a legal requirement to act ‘in good faith’ when it comes to business conducted under a contract; similar to the expectation in employment and insurance agreements.
