Revenue Quebec is to look into the tax affairs of Bombardier after leaked documents showed a secret deal with Luxembourg. A group of international journalists has discovered evidence of hundreds of deals with multinational corporations resulting in them paying vastly lower sums of tax than they would do in their home nation. Many of the proposals would be illegal and many would also consider the avoidance of domestic tax to be highly immoral. Google and Apple are among the largest firms currently being investigated by the European authorities over alleged tax deals with member nations.
