Iain Black has been leading Maximizer since 2019. Before that, he held management and leadership positions at Axion Communications, The Electric Mail Company Inc., Datawest Solutions Inc., and The Greater Vancouver Board of Trade. He also worked in government as a cabinet minister for British Columbia from 2005-2011. 

Black has a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Manitoba. He was also part of the Directors Education Program at the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto.
