IFIC launches advisor centre

To help advisors stay current on industry issues and aid clients in understanding their investments, the IFIC has added a new advisor resource centre to its website.

Designed to be a one-stop education gateway, the advisor centre has a menu of key topics, such as CRM tools and tips, mutual fund fees, catering to vulnerable investors, hot regulatory topics, and insights on the value of advice. Materials are also organized based on type on a second menu, which lets advisors access IFIC’s Advisor Insights bulletins, infographics, presentations, and more. The site’s responsive design allows it to be viewed easily on all devices, including tablets and smartphones.

The site also provides easy access to IFSE Institute, the industry group’s education arm. Aimed at both beginners and professionals, it provides practical, cost-effective financial education covering the entire financial services industry.

“Today’s financial advisor works in a rapidly changing environment marked by changing client needs, ongoing regulatory developments, and innovations in technology,” said IFIC President and CEO Paul C. Bourque, Q.C. “Continuing education and ever increasing proficiency are high priorities for all IFIC members.”
