Two more banks’ profits boom

Another two of Canada’s Big Six banks announced their quarterly financial results and once again they are in the money

Another two of Canada’s Big Six banks announced their quarterly financial results and once again they are in the money. CIBC’s third quarter profits were up 6 per cent from the same period last year to reach $978 million with adjusted earnings per share of $2.45. Meanwhile TD Bank announced a 7.5 per cent rise in profits to $2.3 billion with earnings of $1.20 per share.
