​TransCanada has another day of disappointment

The failed vote to push through the Keystone XL pipeline yesterday has been followed by more bad news for TransCanada.

The failed vote to push through the Keystone XL pipeline yesterday has been followed by more bad news for TransCanada. This time it’s the planned oil pipeline from Alberta to Canada’s east coast known as Energy East. Quebec has today said that the pipeline must pass seven conditions if it’s to be allowed to pass through the province. Environmental objections to the project have been well-voiced and some of the demands from Quebec address some of those concerns.
