Just weeks after the merger of Tim Hortons and Burger King there could be a raft of job cuts about to be announced. Reports suggest that there could be lay-offs in provincial offices and that the cuts could be announced tomorrow. Although the federal government’s approval of the merger came with conditions relating to head office staff and the management mix, there was no such stipulation for regional offices. The firm has not made any comment in relation to the reports.
