Sears Canada shows some optimistic signs

Sears Canada revenue was 9.1 per cent lower in the second quarter compared to the same period in 2014 but the company said Wednesday that June showed some positive signs and was a “turning point”

Sears Canada revenue was 9.1 per cent lower in the second quarter compared to the same period in 2014 but the company said Wednesday that June showed some positive signs and was a “turning point”. Revenue to the end of August was $768.8 million with net profit of $13.5 million. The same period last year made a loss of $21.3 million.
