A group of restaurants and bars have put forward a proposal to provide a new outlet for beer in Ontario. Restaurants Canada wants to be able to sell beer for customers to take home or “off-sales”. Many provinces already allow it and the group says it would also give craft and micro breweries another outlet as many are not able to sell through the Beer Store or LCBO. The provincial government has promised some changes to the selling of beer in the spring budget.
