President Obama is in Pennsylvania today and will highlight successes in the manufacturing sector. Mr Obama is keen to show how his administration is boosting the economy without help from republicans in Congress. At a visit to a Pittsburgh business, the President will announce plans to make it easier to start a manufacturing business. A recent poll shows that most Americans are sceptical about the economy and analysts suggest Mr Obama’s words may not do much to change that, especially in the shadow of the Iraq tension.
