The former chief operating officer of US retailer Wireless Zone has been jailed for 5 months for revealing confidential data about Blackberry. James Dunham was also given an additional 5 months of home confinement following his jail term. Reuters reports that court papers reveal that Dunham had a secret deal with an analyst to provide information about the wireless industry. Information given to the analyst about Blackberry’s new smartphone in 2013 sent the company’s stock downward.
