Economy predicted for moderate growth

The Bank of Nova Scotia predicts that Canada’s economy will grow by a moderate 1.9 per cent this year and 2.0 per cent in 2016.

The Bank of Nova Scotia predicts that Canada’s economy will grow by a moderate 1.9 per cent this year and 2.0 per cent in 2016. The outlook shows a widening gap between the US and Canada’s economies and also disparity between the provinces. Alberta unsurprisingly will see weaker growth with 0.6 per cent this year and 1.6 per cent in 2016; while Ontario will grow by 2.7 per cent this year but slip back slightly next year to 2.4 per cent.
