Alimentation Couche-Tard will see further expansion south of the border after agreeing a $860 million deal to acquire US based The Pantry.

Alimentation Couche-Tard will see further expansion south of the border after agreeing a $860 million deal to acquire US based The Pantry. As well as the cash payment Couch-Tarde will take on the North Carolina firm’s debt making a total value of $1.7 billion for the deal. The company has been expanding its international footprint and recently tried to buy Caseys stores in the US but this new deal will add 1,500 US stores to its portfolio.
