Canada’s big banks are set for falling revenues and profits this year. Analysts are predicting that the lenders’ exposure to household debt and losses from those debts. Non-mortgage debts are of particular concern; subprime auto loans for example; and with oil revenues causing additional worries for the wider economy there could be slim profits for the banks this year.
