​Bank of Canada considers changing inflation target

The Bank of Canada’s deputy governor Agathe Cote says that the central bank is considering whether to increase its inflation target.

The Bank of Canada’s deputy governor Agathe Cote says that the central bank is considering whether to increase its inflation target. The target rate of 2 per cent was met in September and the bank is now looking at whether it should be revised and whether price trends should be measured only by core inflation.
