Invesco helps optimize the advisor-client experience with advisorDUO™

New digital solution allows financial advisors to meet evolving client needs

Toronto, November 22, 2017 – Invesco Canada Ltd. is excited to announce the launch of advisorDUO. This state-of-the-art solution aims to enable financial advisors nationwide to take advantage of the move to digital advice, allowing them to connect directly with clients via an easy-to-use digital interface.

“At Invesco, we strongly believe that investors are best served by partnering with financial advisors who can help them reach their unique goals,” said Peter Intraligi, President of Invesco Canada. “The wealth management industry is undergoing massive change due to new technologies and proposed regulations, and one of our global priorities as an organization is to help advisors navigate this rapidly changing environment. Be it the acquisition of Jemstep in the U.S., a market-leading provider of financial advisor-focused digital solutions, or our pioneering work in bringing PowerShares® Funds and ETFs to Canada, we’ll continue challenging convention to bring advisors the best solutions possible.”

Available to dealers that have signed an agreement with Invesco, advisorDUO is the first digital solution in Canada exclusively designed for advisors to use with their clients for onboarding and recommending portfolios. This comprehensive, white-labelled solution gives advisors the ability to serve existing clients while prospecting and onboarding new ones seamlessly. Uniquely configured for each dealership, the platform is integrated within an advisor’s existing system to compile all necessary information to open investment accounts, including a comprehensive goals-based questionnaire, personalized analysis and segmented offerings. AdvisorDUO eliminates paperwork from the onboarding process while allowing advisory firms to retain control of assets, reduce administrative costs and support multiple business models. Moreover, it allows advisors to enhance the way they do business by freeing up administrative time to continue to concentrate on client-focused, value-added services.

“Investors and their advisors are looking for solutions that meet their evolving needs – enriching the client experience while improving the advisor’s practice efficiency,” said Andrew Manning, Head of Marketing, Invesco Canada. “Built and designed using Invesco’s in-house digital expertise, advisorDUO maintains the advisor-investor link, with the intent of increasing the competitiveness of financial advisory firms and allowing advisors to serve clients in the way they wish to be serviced.”
