When Robert Roby received his securities license in 1987, the advisory industry was unrecognizable to today. 30 years on and he’s still going strong

pity he didnt "peddle" whole life or universal life insurance one two or three decades ago when interest rates were high and premiums therefore low. his older clients would have been happy sheltering their estate planning wealth instead of feeding capital gains and interest to the tax man.

I agree 100%. I'm so fed up with the commodity aspect of the investment side. After 27 years I still find a life and living benefits sale so much more satisfying. Especially when done in an wealth and estate planning context.
