An industry advocate talks to WP about the importance of risk disclosure for mutual fund investors

I wonder how many (or how few) advisors ever discuss all the risks associated with mutual funds? Why does the MFDA allow companies to bury 2 pages of risks in the back of the prospectus? Why are these numerous risks not disclosed in the first few pages of the prospectus? Why is it not mandatory for advisors to disclose the risks involved with mutual funds? I always do!

We into the 9th year of a Bull market. The 2nd longest in history. Everyone was very bullish and confident in the 2 years leading up to the crash of 2008. Many experts, who are much smarter than I am, are calling for another serious correction "soon". So, are mutual fund investors getting the protection the really need?
