A former Rouge Valley Hospital employee, who allegedly sold investor lists to RESP dealers culled from patient records, appeared in court Friday. WP asked Ottawa lawyer Harold Geller for his take on the case.

Thanks for the update Will. It is both disturbing and unbelievable that the names of the dealers still haven't been made public. Why is the OSC withholding their names? If the OSC would indicate some legitimate reason for doing so, then it might put to the rest the idea that somehow these dealers are being protected by the very organization that is supposed to protect the public. Harold Geller summarizes this perfectly when he says "My comment is directed at the dealer who obtained the information and not the individual who sold the information." This silence taints the entire industry.
