Nest Wealth was founded in 2014 by Randy Cass, who had a desire to create a company that offered a better way to invest.

In 2017, National Bank came in with an investment of $6 million. That partnership led to the development of the National Bank savings experience, the bank’s online investment platform.

An extended partnership between Nest Wealth and National Bank was secured in 2020.

Randy Cass is the founder and CEO of Nest Wealth. He has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Fun fact: he was one of the hosts of Market Sense on BNN from 2011 to 2014.

Cass is passionate about helping businesses and individuals achieve their financial goals. In a 2019 interview, Cass said: “Nest Wealth is our vision that we’re going to allow anyone, anywhere regardless of age, wealth, and location to choose how they want to invest in a way that makes them most comfortable.”

Cass holds a business degree from Western University and a law degree from the University of Toronto. He is also a certified financial analyst.
