Plight of the Independent office

The backbone of the Canadian financial advisory market is the independent office. We want to know what offices are out there and ‘killing it’ this year.

The advisor business is one of relationships. It’s the advisor on the ground, visiting clients, working on individual financial plan that drives the industry.

Who does an amazing job at this task? WP is asking.

In an upcoming issue WP hopes to identify a group of independent financial advisor offices that are making a difference today. Do you know someone who is having an amazing year prospecting clients? Do you know an office that is delivering far-beyond-average service? We want to hear about these people.

If you are not selling mutual funds out of a bank branch and you are relatively able to sell whatever product you want, you’re an independent office. Bonus marks if your own name is on the door. But whatever the case, send us the names of firms that are developing a unique business process, that have employees who are making a difference in their community, or simply those who seem to have this business down cold. Let’s hear some names. If there is an advisor you know that is on fire this year, please, send in the name along with a quick couple sentences about what makes the firm stand out. Nominations should be sent to, [email protected]
