National Bank Securities set for rebrand

Under a new name, the bank says it will be able to simplify its mutual fund offerings.

National Bank Securities Inc. is rebranding itself by changing it's name to National Bank Investments Inc.

The move, announced Monday, aims to simplify the brand structure of mutual funds offered by the National Bank Securities family.

The bank says the new positioning will not compromise its committment to offering one of the most comprehensive ranges of investment solutions, drawing on the expertise of its prominent portfolio managers.

"We are the only major Canadian bank that deals exclusively with third-party portfolio managers. This unique multi-channel approach offers investors the possibility of benefiting from a broad range of renowned managers and a flexible product offering", said Michel Falk, president and CEO of National Bank Securities, in a release.

"Regardless of their investor profile, we can provide our clients with the diversification they need by offering them a solution that is in line with their investment objectives."

The rebrand aims to better reflect the bank's proactive approach to offering innovative, competitive solutions for clients, while remaining accessible, convenient and proactive, which the bank says differentiates it from competitors.
