Follow-up on “Independent office” nominations
WP magazine is looking for nominations. We want to hear from Canadian advisors what independent office they think is the best in the country.

In the wake of a story posted yesterday nominations are already coming in (thanks to those writing in!). We should say that nominations can be made over the next three weeks. As well, along with the name of the independent office, write us a paragraph about what it is that makes the office special. Is there something the employees do in terms of charity? Is there some kind of innovative marketing approach? Maybe there is an interesting efficiency-saving practice? Is it the people, a process, an approach? Tell us what makes the office special. We look forward to hearing what Canadian advisors have to say!

This company is one of the last standing independently owned Financial Planning houses. The owner Mr. Ossie Fisher has been in the business since the first year Mutual funds where offered in Canada, and the ratio of CFP's in house is outstanding. Even with all the new compliance rules that come down the tube's, there is only one cardinal rule. "Do unto other's as you would have done unto you". Many a Canadian Family has retired wealthy due to Mr.Fisher's kind and intelligent guidance.
