Friday’s gains for Wall Street helped boost Asian sentiment for a time Monday. However only China and Australia ended the day on a positive note as central bank meetings were on the mind of many other markets. In Europe markets are weak so far after a failure to make real progress on Greece’s debt and news that Deutsche Bank is making changes to its banking division having released a fall in quarterly profits. Even some positive earnings results have been unable to raise sentiment.

US stock futures are trending higher. Oil is trending lower (Brent $64.83, WTI $56.84 at 5.50am ET). Gold is trending higher.
