​TSX gains again as European data adds optimism to global economy

The TSX was again in positive territory today as data from Germany showed higher sentiment calming fears about the Eurozone’s biggest economy.

The TSX was again in positive territory today as data from Germany showed higher sentiment calming fears about the Eurozone’s biggest economy. With Germany looking like avoiding a recession and Japan’s analysts hopeful of a swift recovery there, the global markets were looking more positive.

The S&P TSX Composite Index closed up 90.47 (0.61 per cent)

The NYSE closed up on all major indexes.

Gold and oil are both lower.
