Canada Bread Company has acquired the Saputo bakery business from Saputo Inc for C$120 million.
Canada Bread Company has acquired the Saputo bakery business from Saputo Inc for C$120 million. The Montreal firm includes the well-known Vachon, Jos Louis, Ah Caramel, Passion Flakie and May West brands. Canada Bread’s parent, the multinational Grupo Bimbo based in Mexico, says the acquisition will boost Canada Bread’s position.
