Ontario to look at gender pay inequality

Ontario’s government has appointed a committee to look into the pay gap between men and women in the province.

Ontario’s government has appointed a committee to look into the pay gap between men and women in the province. Experts from business, human resources and pay equity groups are part of the steering committee and will consult with stakeholders throughout the rest of this year before reporting its findings next year. The wage gap is said to be between 12 and 31.5 per cent according to StatsCan data.
